Details

When using a harness, a Backup Strap adds a layer of safety by keeping you connected to your dog in case of a hardware failure or accidental detachment.

How it works:
One end of the Backup Strap is clipped to the D-ring on your dog's collar. The other end is clipped to the leash snap below the swivel point.

If the leash disconnects from the harness, it's still attached to the collar, keeping your dog connected to you and on-leash.

A Backup Strap provides a built-in contingency if:

  • Your dog gets out of their harness.
  • The leash snap accidentally releases or fails.
  • The harness attachment-point fails.
